Senior Daybreak | Caring for the Caregiver
Hilltop’s Senior Daybreak is a unique day program that keeps seniors with memory loss safe and secure while providing their caregivers the flexibility and support they need to care for their loved ones at home. They also offer valuable information and support groups specifically designed for those caring for someone affected by dementia and Alzheimer’s.
Senior Daybreak | Caring for the Caregiver
The Challenge: Find a way to share the important work of Senior Daybreak, and the powerful impact it has on the caregivers and families that it serves.
The Solution: We found Valerie, an incredible woman who allowed us a peak into her daily life and struggles caring for her mom, who has dementia. Valerie’s openness and honesty helped make this into a powerful little film that resonates with caregivers facing the same challenges. It also highlights the importance of resources like Senior Daybreak - the Grand Junction care center that provides the relief her she and her husband so desperately need.
Deliverables: One main story, one medium sized version, and several even shorter versions for social media. In addition, we delivered a package of still photos the team was able to leverage for their landing pages and across social media.
This is one in a series of video stories we created for Rocky Mountain Health Plans - collectively shown here.
